What's new in Briefrow: Kanban, search, Slack and more

This is our biggest release yet. Alongside the new client portal, we've shipped a set of features for teams that handle a lot of briefs at once. Here's a quick tour.

A Kanban board for every brief

The new Board shows every brief in a column for its status. Drag a card to move it along and the change appears live for everyone on your team. Filter by designer, priority or brief type, or group the board by designer to see who has what on their plate.

Find anything with ⌘K

Press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows) anywhere in Briefrow to search briefs, forms, QR codes, transfers, files, messages and people. Use the arrow keys to move through results and Enter to open one. Your recent results are waiting for you the next time you open it.

Slack, API and webhooks

Connect Slack and choose a channel for brief updates, new deliverables and comments. If you'd like to build your own integrations, you can create API keys with exactly the permissions you need and add webhooks that notify your systems the moment something changes. The full API reference is public.

Templates, brand kit and a smarter AI

Start a brief from a template, or save any brief as one. Keep your logos, colours, fonts, tone of voice and guidelines in the brand kit, and it travels with every brief to the designer.

Before a brief is submitted, the AI quality check scores it and lists what's missing, so designers get what they need the first time. It can also split a campaign into suggested assets and turn a round of feedback into a checklist.

Deadlines you can see

Set how many days each priority should take. Briefs that run past their target are flagged, admins are notified, and deadline chips on lists and the board show what's due soon or overdue.

Arabic writing support

You can now write briefs, comments and messages in Arabic. Text flows right to left on its own, and lines that mix Arabic and English keep their words in the right order, in the dashboard and the client portal alike.
